What is Part B?
Medicare Part B helps cover medical expenses, such as doctor's services, outpatient services and other medical supplies. It also helps cover some occupational and physical therapy services and some home-health care. It also covers some preventive services. What is Part C?
Known as Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part C plans cover all of your Medicare Parts A and B benefits plus they may also include Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. With a Medicare Advantage plan that includes prescription drug coverage, you simply choose to receive your benefits through a private health insurance company, giving you the convenience of an all-in-one plan.4
